PPE 158040111 Forged Idler Arm Pivot Assembly

The PPE 158040111 Forged Idler Arm Pivot Assembly can help restore the steering feel in your GM 6.6L Duramax 2500HD/3500HD. A failing idler arm pivot assembly can make the steering in your truck feel sloppy. It can also lead to the premature wear of the steering linkage and tires. If your truck has a lifted with larger wheels and tires, this effect can be even more exacerbated. The precision-built PPE Extreme-Duty Forged Idler Arm Assembly is engineered to handle the additional the stress of larger tires, off-roading, drag racing and heavy towing. 

Inside the forged steel housing is two tapered, high-load roller bearings with rubber seals to protect them from fluids and debris. The heavy-duty dual roller bearings are already greased when they are received. PPE recommends re-greasing the pivot arm with the built-in zerk fitting if you spend a lot of time with your axles under water. For everyday use (including high mileage, heavy-duty towing or off road), the PPE Forged PPE Idler Arm Assembly does not require maintenance.
