Description
The PPE 158032500 Forged XR Tie Rod Kit replaces the weak factory tie rods on your Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD. Not only are the PPE Forged XR Tie Rods the ultimate upgrade for extreme-duty tasks such as intense off-roading and sled pulling, but they are also the perfect replacement for the stock tie rods where the plastic ball joint seats are worn out.
These tie rods feature a giant 32 mm-diameter outer tie rod ball stud and an extra-wide ball joint neck. This provides superior strength and stability while maintaining the stock articulation angle. The 3/4" inner tie rod threaded shaft ensures a secure connection and is surrounded by the 1.6-inch forged outer, preventing bending/deforming.
A Zerk fitting is conveniently integrated on the outer tie rod cap. Each tie rod comes pre-greased and does not require greasing for installation. The outer tie rod can be trimmed off by up to 1 inch to achieve a shorter overall length for customized steering setups.
