The Ford Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) Oil Separator LC3Z-6A785-C will help you maintain the CCV system in your Ford F-250/350/450/550 6.7 Powerstroke. The crankcase vent assembly recycles crankcase fumes to help reduce ash loading of the DPF during this operation. This allows the relief of crankcase pressure and separates oil from crankcase fumes. The Ford Motor Company's published maintenance information on the 6.7L Power Stroke does not specify that CCV service is mandatory. However, replacing this filter as part of routine maintenance should be done around every 30,000 to 40,000 miles.
