Driven Diesel DD-DFCS Fan Clutch Accelerator Switch

XDP has the Driven Diesel DD-DFCS Fan Clutch Accelerator Switch that allows you to control the fan clutch in your 2005-2007 Dodge 5.9L Diesel 2500/3500/4500/5500 or 2007.5-2020 Dodge 6.7L Diesel 2500/3500/4500/5500. The Fan Clutch Accelerator Switch will give you some manual control of your electronic engine fan clutch. When switched on, this device will cause your ECM to think that your Engine Coolant Temperature has risen, causing your ECM to command more fan speed from the clutch. When disabled, the ECM will see the correct temperature from the coolant temperature sensor and operate the fan as normal.The Driven Diesel Fan Clutch Accelerator Switch is engineered to be used "AS NEEDED" and not engaged full-time. Leaving this device enabled all the time cause the engine fan to run excessively, causing more engine noise, lower fuel economy, and reduced power. If you have experienced situations where coolant and oil temperatures rise, but you aren't hearing your fan engage to aid in cooling, this is the reason why.
